Commonwealth Games 2014 to be held in Glasgow between 23rd July and 3rd August have finally found a local agency to for incorporating a new website and digital communications platform for the games.
Along with general information about the games, the sports, the teams and the venues, the website will also introduce special interactive features where volunteers will be able to apply and take part in the games, users will be involved in social networking elements and there would be high definition multimedia information such as videos and audios for the build up to the games. A prototype website has already been built by Dog Digital which helped them in winning the bid. The final site is expected to go live in March next year.
Glasgow 2014’s director of marketing and sponsorship, John Donnelly was all praises for the digital agency when he said “Dog Digital responded with a consistently high quality and detailed proposal which left the Organising Committee in no doubt that they are our ideal partner agency.” Dog Digital’s past work for clients such as NHS 24, Scottish Power, Visit Scotland and Scottish Widows also impressed the selection committee.
